Hey guys! Just cannot wait!
Let's go over our instructions from the brothers so that we'll be prepared.
We try to focus on offering the Bible Teach book but can also offer tracts or mags if the situation seems appropriate. We are going to try to bring as many Bible Teach as possible but please try to bring literature for yourself so we don't run out;)
We have not stayed in this house before but from past experience, cell service is not always the best. I will update with the house phone and specific directions when I get them. For now, I can tell you that the address of the house is
200 Wolf Ridge Lane
Fleetwood, NC 28626
It came right up when I googled it...6 hours from my house. It looks like you go up 221 and then turn left on Liberty Grove Church Rd. Then left on Wolf Ridge Lane.
I will plan to be there Wednesday at 4 to get the house opened and dinner going. Everyone is welcome to come in when it's best for them.
We remember last year so lets plan for rain just in case (bring your rain boots!). Sheets and towels are provided but we may need extra toilet paper and laundry detergent if you plan to do laundry. There is a hot tub so bring your suit if you are so inclined. Josh is planning to bring wood for the fire pit so maybe we can do smores if the weather holds!
Safe travels, everyone, and like I said, I'll update when I get more info.

5th Anniversary Unassigned 2016!
5th Anniversary Unassigned 2016!!
Dates: October 20-23
Assignment: Ashe County, NC
We are so excited to be planning our 5th unassigned trip! Our assignment from the branch is the same area we had last year...Ashe County, just north of Jefferson, NC. We have planned four long service days to cover this territory completely.
Our group is going to be a bit smaller this year because houses to rent are limited. But we have found one that will fit our group perfectly!
Check out the link to the rental house:

Wolf Ridge Lodge
Our plan is to arrive Wednesday night and settle in, then check out Monday morning so the friends can get back to their routines. This is going to be a great year and hopefully we can help find sheep-like ones in the Ashe county area.

Literature and Directions
We're almost there! Here is some last minute info. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me!
Literature
As far as literature and presentations go, this is what the brothers ask us to do:
Offer the Bible Teach Book. If householder has one, any other literature may be offered. All should carry a variety of tracts and old magazines for not at homes.
Members of the group should endeavor to start a Bible study on the initial call and to make return visits on those who show interest.
We have a limited number of Bible Teach books in our Hall that we will bring with us. Please bring your own supply of Bible Teach books and magazines if you have extra.
This territory is new to us so hopefully we will find many interested ones!
Directions
Directions to from Hwy 421 to “A Mountain Escape”
From the intersection of Hwy 421/221 in Deep Gap, NC, turn onto Hwy 221 North towards

Everybody travel safely and we will see you there!

Menu Planning!
I thought we could go ahead and start our menu. If someone wants to volunteer to do a meal, that would be great. Also if you would rather volunteer to help someone else, that would be fine. (like dessert) If you do, contact me and I will post your day.
I'm not scheduling meal for Saturday night. For that night, maybe we can do leftovers or order pizza. By that time we will be tired out from service:)
Let's plan to pack our lunches for service so be sure to bring your cooler.
As always, if it works better for you to opt out, feel free. But if you would like to be involved in family meals, please let me know!

Get Ready for 2015!!!
Hey Everyone! Our assignment is in and we are excited to share all of the new info with you!
We are assigned to
ASHE County, NC
This is about 30-45 minutes north of Boone, and includes some of Tennessee!
The dates are
September 30- October 4, 2015
Wed and Sun are for checking in and out. Our official service days are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
This area seems to be less populated than Boone but thanks to Jehovah, we found a great house. Here are some pictures:
The house is close to Jefferson, NC, which is in Ashe county and also where the nearest Kingdom Hall is located. It looks new with upgraded features, has a game room with foosball, ping-pong and a card table, is within walking distance of fishing pond, and most importantly, it has a wood burning fire pit and rocking chairs on the front deck.
Check out this link:
Aerial Tour of House
I'm sure we are all excited and looking forward to our trip. As we get more info, we will be in touch! In the meantime, I have added links to interesting activities located in our new county. It will definitely be fun to explore a new area!
